Called to the Nations
Since our last newsletter, quite a bit has happened. As we mentioned in our last newsletter, the Lord led us to relocate to and base the ministry from the USA. We didn’t feel that we were supposed to settle in Houston but we felt led to move to Tennessee the end of December 2013. We don’t believe that Tennessee is that “city” referenced in our last newsletter, but it is where God wants us for now.
We are blessed in that we believe that we are just now beginning to walk in the vision that God put into our hearts almost twenty years ago.
When Lisa was first baptized with the Holy Spirit, the Lord gave her a vision that she was flying over many oceans. The Holy Spirit revealed to her heart that this meant that she would be traveling to many nations to preach the Gospel.
Sean had a similar experience in 1995 after being prayed for by a visiting minister. As he left to return to his seat after the prayer, his legs became very heavy and it was difficult to move them. When he asked, “What is this Lord?” The Lord spoke to his heart, “Your legs are weary for all of the nations that you will go for me.”
Even though we have gone to many different nations and have even lived as missionaries in them, we feel that was all preparation for what God has in store. In February, we traveled to North Carolina and Virginia ministering the Word. We have other places lined up where we will also be ministering the Word throughout this year.
We are also working on a trip to India for the end of this year in November. In India, we will be in three different regions preaching and ministering the Word. Praise God! This is only the beginning!
New Teaching Series
As mentioned, in February we had the opportunity and privilege to minister in a couple different places. We ministered in bible schools in both Raleigh, North Carolina, and in Alexandria, Virginia. After we ministered in those places, many people came up to us and told us that what we taught was exactly what they needed for the situations they were currently facing.
Lisa Ministering on How to Be Still
Briefly, Lisa taught on The Importance of the Heart. Proverbs 27:19 says, “As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man.” Whether you are experiencing death or abundant life in your experience, either one is a by-product of what is in your heart. If you’re always discouraged, depressed, tormented, and are not able to reign in life, it is merely a reflection of your heart. The Word says, “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
Lisa also taught on Be Still. Psalm 46:10 tells us to be still and know that He is God. Being still is about entering into His rest. Rest is a by-product of knowing God. If you are not at rest, you don't have a full revelation of who God truly is. After this teaching, we received a testimony from a student. He had been ministering to a fellow believer that at one time had cancer and was healed. However, recently she got a bad report that the cancer had returned. She became anxious and worried and had gotten out of the rest of God. He had been praying about how to minister to this lady and after hearing this teaching, the Lord showed him exactly what he needed to say to her.
Sean Ministering on Dynamics of the Will of God
Sean taught on the Dynamics Concerning the Will of God. Many believers are under condemnation and fear because they feel that they are not fulfilling the will of God for their lives. Not only that, but believers also doubt that they hear God and misunderstand how God usually leads and speaks. Many believers were helped and blessed when they discovered that they are perfectly seeing God’s will fulfilled in their lives in ways that they never considered. Ephesians 1:5, says, “Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the GOOD PLEASURE OF HIS WILL.”
If you are saved, you are allowing God’s will to be fulfilled in your life and you are giving Him good pleasure. When we are secure that His will is being fulfilled IN us simply because we are in Christ, we are then liberated from condemnation and fear about missing God’s will and are thus able to hear and believe God to see His will fulfilled THROUGH us.
